An educational advocate helps families better understand the complex process of special education and 504. An advocate helps families ensure that their child has the tools required, based on their individual unique needs, to access the curriculum and make academic and social emotional progress.
While we can step in to help a family at any point in their academic journey, the best time to contact us is when you feel your student needs additional resources.
No one can ethically offer this guarantee. However, we can work collaboratively with you, your child, and the IEP team to help ensure everyone understands your concerns and if necessary request evaluations to gain important information regarding what your child requires to access the curriculum.
